Making Big News at the Biggest Foodservice Show!
An epic launch for two McCain Foods brands.
We kicked off 2023 by launching two new foodservice products in the first two months of the year.
In January, we introduced V’DGZ, a line of vegetable shareables that we named, positioned and designed, with a trade industry event featuring the global flavor stylings of “America’s Hottest Chef” and James Beard Award winner Chef Kwame Onwuachi (details here).
We then introduced McCain Mini Mashers™ potato bites to the trade in February. Endlessly customizable for all sorts of creative dishes, McCain Mini Mashers™ give restaurant operators an easy way to drive sales, expand menu offerings and deliver EPIC culinary experiences to their guests.
Apparently, the National Restaurant Association agrees. In April, it announced both products earned FABI awards, which recognize new products that are revolutionizing the food and beverage industry. The FABI judges then went one step further, selecting V’DGZ™ Corn R’bz as an inaugural “FABI Favorite” for exemplifying creativity, ingenuity and the ability to expand menu options industry-wide. Attending the show this year? Both V’DGZ™ Corn R’bz and McCain Mini Mashers potato bites will be served in the new Connections space (located in The Culinary Experience) all four days.
