Bader Rutter Strikes Gold with Best Of Show at PRSA Paragon Awards

MILWAUKEE — Bader Rutter (BR) continues to dominate industry award competitions this year — most recently on May 21, when the agency took home six honors, including Best of Show, at the annual Paragon Awards sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter.

“The Paragon Awards are where we compete with our local PR peers,” said Larry O’Brien, management director at BR. “These awards are impressive because they take each tenet of PR into account — from research to results. With this format, the programs with the strongest strategy and impact rise to the top.”

Notably, this year’s Best of Show-winning entry, the “Heavy Metal” Campaign for HOOF-TEC™, developed on behalf of Zoetis, represents the agricultural communications sector. The Paragon Awards do not segregate B2B from B2C communications, so to achieve this honor, the HOOF-TEC program had to outperform more consumer centric efforts.

“Bold thinking can lead to big results, and this campaign proves that,” O’Brien said. “The HOOF-TEC campaign put powerful content at the heart of the effort, and the audience responded. It’s an inspiration to keep exploring new ways to engage the target market.”

Additionally, Bader Rutter won four Awards of Excellence for work on behalf of Zoetis, Sauder andthe National Pork Board and the National Pork Producers Council. BR media relations efforts on behalf of Case IH garnered an Award of Merit.

In other awards this year, BR collected nine first-place and six second-place honors in the Best of NAMA Awards presented by the National Agri-Marketing Association. And in the 2015 BtoB Best Awards presented by Advertising Age, the agency earned two national awards, including one for the HOOF-TEC campaign.
