MILWAUKEE — Bader Rutter announces the hiring of JoDee George, a proven leader in food and agriculture business strategy and marketing. George joins a growing Bader Rutter food business marketing capability and fortifies the agency’s leading agriculture marketing team.
George joins Bader Rutter from Kerry, a global leader in taste and nutrition solutions for food and beverage companies, where she led strategy for Kerry’s North American food business units and served on the regional leadership team. Her work centered on strategies and structure for deeper global and regional customer engagement, developing stronger insights to grow customers’ businesses, and global positioning for Kerry.
“The food supply chain is increasingly complex, and consumers have more influence than ever. Bader Rutter is one of the few full-service agencies that truly understands the risks and opportunities of today’s food supply chain. Our clients are looking for the kind of expertise JoDee brings,” says Greg Nickerson, Bader Rutter CEO.
George previously was senior vice president for food and agribusiness at Weber Shandwick where she launched new products, developed global brand campaigns and gained emerging market experience. She also directed issues management at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and worked on food, agriculture and energy issues at FleishmanHillard. She holds an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business, a master’s degree in agricultural economics from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
“My passion is uncovering insights that grow business, and I’m excited to help clients across food and agriculture. I have long admired Bader Rutter’s ability to partner with clients to transform convention and inspire change,” George says.
