MILWAUKEE — Bader Rutter announces the hiring of Nicholas Cialdini as creative director. A strategic thinker and innovator, Cialdini joins a growing Bader Rutter creative department and fortifies the agency’s leading creative team.
Cialdini joins Bader Rutter from GMR, where he connected brands and consumers through shared passions. He focused on creating integrated marketing programs that came to life through experiences and content. His work included integrated promotions for American Horror Story for FX Network and the Chevron STEM Zone at Super Bowl 50.
“I’m thrilled to add Nico’s experience to our creative group,” says Mike Fredrick, executive creative director at Bader Rutter. “His deep background in experiential, digital and other nontraditional forms of advertising fits perfectly with where our industry needs to continue to move toward — developing engaging experiences for people rather than just interrupting them.”
Cialdini previously was associate creative director at Leo Burnett where he created transformative integrated campaigns for Samsung and Nintendo. Prior to that, he developed campaigns for Jack Morton and was part of Nike’s Global Brand Design Group as well as Sartoria, Nike’s Italian advertising agency. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
“I was really drawn to the people and culture of Bader Rutter. It has the resources of a global agency but it feels very boutique,” says Cialdini. “BR is on the verge of something big. The move downtown positions this agency for growth as we diversify into new categories. I’m thrilled to help set the course for the next phase of the agency. We have clients who really appreciate creativity and challenge us to bring out our best work.”
